Biographical data
A Pálos rendbe 1942-ben lépett be. Főiskola tanulmányait Pécsett végezte. 1947-ben szentelték pappá. Cserkészvezető.. Ahhoz, hogy nyugatra tudjon távozni – egy jóakarója javaslatára – jelentkezett a békepapok moszkvai útjára. Ezért később Jugoszláviára érvényes útlevelet kapott. Ott átsegítették gyalogosan az olasz határon. Az USA-ban a pálos hagyományokra épülő kolostort szeretett volna alapítani, de ezt a rendfőnök megtiltotta, ekkor kérte a pálos rendből való elbocsátását és a Pittsburgh, PA egyházmegyébe történő átvételét. A rendszerváltás után hazahozta a szíve, s először Budán a pálosok Szikla-templomában, majd Pécsre visszatérve a Pécskertvárosi plébánián, majd a Pálos templomban működött. A pálos rendbe viszont jogilag nem tudott visszatérni, mivel aki egyszer kilépett, azt nem lehet visszavenni. Ezért, mint konfráter (tiszteletbeli tag) csatlakozott a közösséghez. Megromlott egészségi állapota miatt kénytelen volt Pécset elhagyni és Pátyon, a máltaiak otthonában, majd Budán, a Farkas Edit Szociális Otthonban kapott helyet és gondozást, de megrokkant egészsége ellenére is mindkét helyen ellátta a lelkipásztori teendőket.
