Biographical data
Szerzetesi titulusa: Szent Imre. Szülei Cseh Péter és Szabó Adél voltak. A rendbe 1928. december 28-án lépett be. Örökfogadalmat tett a Kármel hegyén 1935. december 29-én. Magyarországot 1932-ben végén hagyta el, majd Palesztinában (a mai Izrael területén), Egyiptomban és Olaszországban élt ismeretlen ideig. 1958 körül érkezett Brazíliába. Az 1970-es évek végén küldték São Roquéba. Mivel kevés szerzetes volt ezért döntés született kolostorának bezárásáról, amit ellenzett, vállalta, hogy akár egyedül is ott marad, hogy ne kelljen eladni az ingatlant. Mintegy két évig élt egyedül, majd a rendtartománya ott indította újra a noviciátust. A feljegyzések szerint rendkívül művelt volt, a könyvek szerelmese, számos nyelven beszélt. Bár nem volt pap, de rendelkezett a hármas papi „erénnyel”: hittel, humorral és jó gyomorral. Ez utóbbit az is elősegítette, hogy évtizedeken át szakácsként szolgált. Hirtelen halt meg. Jó egészségnek örvendett, egyik este visszavonult a cellájába aludni, de másnap reggel nem jelent meg a kápolnában, s szerzetestestvérei holtan találtak rá. Távoli rokona („dédnagybácsija”) Cseh Péter Mihály, aki korábban Magyarországon teljesített papi szolgálatot a pécsi egyházmegyében.
