Biographical data
Magyarországon született, apja neve Csík Ferenc, anyja Bakos Júlia, hét testvére született. Katonai szolgálata után jogot tanult. Az USA-ba 1922. november 5-én érkezett meg az America nevű gőzösön, foglalkozásaként a diákot jelölte meg, s István nevű testvérét nevezte meg, mint akihez az USA-ban érkezik. A szaléziakat az USA-ban ismerte meg, 1925-ben lépett be a rendbe. A szalézi rendben New Rocelle, NY-ban tett örökfogadalmat, 1926. augusztus 5-én. Pappá szentelték ugyanott 1932. szeptember 24-én. Több éven át házgondnoki és igazgatói teendőket látott el. Magyar pasztorációban való részvételről nincsen adat. Szokása szerint a Szűzanya oltára előtt akart imádkozni, szokása szerint, ahol rosszul lett és hirtelen elhunyt.
