Biographical data
Születésének dátuma bizonytalan. Az 1667-es évszám mellett, 1687. október 28-a, illetve az 1678-as év is megjelenik. Nemzetiségénél is kérdések merülnek fel, van aki osztráknak, s van aki magyarnak írja. Apját egy bécsi bankárként írják le, de ő magyar iskolákban végezte tanulmányait. A rendbe 1705-ben, vagy 1715-ben lépett be. Papi szolgálata mellett orvosi tevékenységet végzett, mint Magyarországon, mind később Dél-Amerikában. Argentínába 1717 körül érkezett meg, jelentős szerepe volt az 1719-es, valamint az 1730-as pestisjárvány leküzdésében. A jezsuiták 1767-es kiutasításakor – elsősorban orvosi tevékenysége miatt engedélyezték számára a kontinensen való maradást. A magyar jezsuiták történelmi névtárában nem szerepel.
