Biographical data
Székely családból származott. 1900-ban, nehezen olvasható sírköve alapján 1906-ban szentelték pappá. A szombathelyi egyházmegye kőrlevelei alapján 1919-től az egyházmegyében alkalmazták. 1921-ben IV. Károly király visszatérési kísérletekor szentmisét mutatott be a királynak. Az USA-ba 1925-ben érkezett meg. Nevéhez kötődik a Yonkers, NY-i Szent Margit templom építése. Nekrológja szerint: „Yonkers és környéki népe nemzeti különbség nélkül a “Szent Papnak” nevezte, elhunyta általános részvét keltett, de a legnagyobb veszteség az amerikai magyarságé, amelynek tiszteletet és elismerést szerzett, és azoké itt és az óhazában, akiket ez a kis jövedelmű pap pénzzel, ruhacsomagokkal, tanácsokkal bőkezűen támogatott. Aszkéta életmódot folytatott, igénytelen volt, télen nyáron mindennap végigjárta már kora reggeltől kezdve a kórházakat, mindegyik beteghez volt egy vigasztaló szava.” Temetésén a néhai IV. Károly magyar király családja felkérésére dr. Eckhardt Tibor jelent meg.
