Biographical data
A szegedi piaristáknál érettségizett. 1933-ban hagyta el az országot, Belgiumba ment a rokonaihoz, ekkor változtatta meg a nevét. 1934-ben belépett a barnabita rendbe. A novíciátus után Firenzében, majd 1936-1940 között Rómában tanult, majd 1939. december 25-én szentelték pappá. 1943-ban átlépett az oratóriánus rendbe. 1943-1945 között a Szentszékhez akkreditált magyar nagykövetség titkára. 1944-ben a Gergely egyetemen egyházjogi doktorátust szerzett. 1945-1949 között Vatikán delegáltjaként az ausztriai magyar menekültek lelkipásztora. 1950-1961 között Bogota, Kolumbiában magyar lelkész. 1961-ben egészségügyi okokból az USA-ba költözött, majd 1967-ben Kanadában telepedett le.
