Biographical data
Az USA-ban született, szülei Dohányos Pál és Gura Mária. Nyolc testvére született, egyik apáca lett. A hazletoni St. Joseph's RC Schoolba járt, előkészítő tanulmányait pedig a New York állambeli St. Joseph's College-ban végezte. Tanulmányait a St. Bonaventure's College-ban fejezte be, majd a New Jersey állambeli Paterson-i szemináriumba lépett, szerzetesi tanulmányait pedig az illinoisi Lemont-ban fejezte be. 1926. május 29-én Edward Hoban püspök szentelte pappá, Chicagóban, Illinois államban, és 1926. május 31-én a Hazleton állambeli St. Joseph's RC templomban celebrálta az első miséjét. Őrnagyi rangban lelkészként szolgált az Egyesült Államok hadseregében a második világháború alatt, valamint a Hazleton Post 76, American Legion káplánja volt. Szolgálati helyeinek tekintetében eltérés van a gyászjelentése és a KMVÉ között. Nekrológja szerint: Pittsburgh, PA, Val Pariso, IN, Chicago, IL, Milwaulkee, WI, Roebling, NJ, New Brunswick, NJ, Carteret, NJ, Passaic, NJ, Patterson, NJ USA településeken szolgált misszionáriusként.
