Biographical data
No coherent biographical information has survived. According to some sources, Ottó Choibert, also known as Otto Adrian Schobert or Schubert, was a man born in 1910 who was associated with various orders of knights and religious organizations. According to these sources, he began his career as a Roman Catholic priest, but later left the clergy and married. In the 1960s, he played an active role in various organizations, including the Sovereign Order of St. John of Jerusalem, where he served as Grand Chancellor. In 1966, he presented the Order of Malta’s award to engineer Dr. Charles Eisler in New York. According to some sources, he was murdered in Locarno on February 16, 1970, while others claim he died after 1966.
