His father’s name was Sándor Csatlós. He was ordained a priest in Esztergom on June 18, 1944. Between 1947 and 1953, he studied in Rome as a student at the Pontifical Hungarian Institute.
During his stay in Rome, he visited the Hungarian refugee camps in Trieste.
In 1954, he left for Canada. He served as a canon, rector, and professor.
He is buried in Darnózseli.
