Biographical data
His father was János Csáky, and his mother was Kornélia Kugyelka. He completed his secondary education at the Cistercian school in Székesfehérvár. He earned doctorates in philosophy and theology. He was a private tutor in Hungarian history at the university. He was ordained a priest in Košice on June 9, 1916. He arrived in the United States around 1920 at the invitation of József Maczrinkó, parish priest of Passaic. According to Máté and issue 13 of Szolgálat, the place of his death was Grand Ledge, MI. His tombstone lists Lansing, MI. As a military chaplain, he received numerous decorations: the Pius Meritis Military Merit Cross, the Military Red Cross, and the Charles Division Cross. Miklósházy: In 2001, he is listed under the name Csáthy.
