According to several periodicals, he was a Salesian. He is not mentioned in the Salesians’ obituary, which may suggest that he left the order. His personal details cannot be traced.
His name is mentioned by Fr. Alcionilo Brüzzi Alves da Silva, SDB, in his book *Crencas e landas do Vaupes*. Based on this, he was still serving as a missionary in 1947.
