Biographical data
As a novice, he graduated from high school in Mohács in 1940. He took his vows in 1941, at which time he was serving as a supervisor at the seminary in Gyula. He referred to himself as “the Virgin Mary’s little Jancsi.” He completed his theological studies in Péliföldszentkereszt, and after his ordination in 1948, he went to Cuba as a missionary. In the 1960s, he was forced to leave the country and subsequently lived in Germany. His brother, Imre Dlusztus, was an Oratorian monk under the name Patrik Dalos.
