Biographical data
His father was György Dobra, a priest, and his mother was Anna Berlányi. His wife was Etel Ruttkay, and they had two children. He pursued his theological studies in Uzhhorod. On November 25, 1888, he was ordained a priest by János Pásztélyi Kovács, Bishop of Mukachevo.
