Biographical data
His father was the Reverend Kálmán Dolinay, and his mother was Ilona Csopey. His wife was Jolán Dobra. They had three children, including the future bishop Tamás Dolinay. He pursued his theological studies in Uzhhorod. On March 4, 1917, he was ordained a priest by Antal Papp, Bishop of Mukachevo. He lived in the United States from 1920 onward.
