Biographical data
He was born in the United States to Gyula Dolinay, a priest, and Jolanda Dobra, who had emigrated from Hungary. He was ordained a priest on May 16, 1948. He was appointed a monsignor in 1966. He was consecrated a bishop on November 16, 1976.
