Biographical data
His parents were Aladár Domán, a lawyer, and Ilona Dorotics. He was ordained a priest by Papal Nuncio Angelo Rotta on April 18, 1942, in Budapest, at the Church of the Holy Spirit on Krisztina Boulevard, which belonged to the Social Mission Society. Between 1942 and 1943, as a member of the Archdiocese of Eger, he was a student at the Pontifical Hungarian Institute in Rome. His grave—along with those of his parents—is located at San Carlos Cemetery in Monterey, CA.
