Biographical data
He arrived in the United States on March 13, 1921, from Le Havre aboard the ship *France*. His occupation is listed as “laborer.” His last place of residence in Hungary was Partos (Temes County). In Detroit, he worked as a factory worker and later as a sacristan. After expressing a calling to the priesthood, he was sent to Vác to study theology, where he was ordained a priest on June 29, 1935.
He was a quiet man who frequently visited the sick. His grave is located at Holy Sepulcher Catholic Cemetery in Southfield, MI.
