Biographical data
He took his vows in the Divine Word Missionaries in 1935. He completed his studies in Austria at the Divine Word Missionaries’ St. Gabriel Seminary. He was ordained a priest in 1939.

He served as a missionary in Japan from 1948 to 1968, and then lived in the United States beginning in 1966.
