Biographical data
According to the MKL and Miklósházy, his first name was Béla; according to Máté, it was Ádám. His admission documents list the first name Ádám. This is corroborated by the July 28, 1934, issue of *The Daily Courier from Connellsville*, which mentions him.
He completed part of his theological studies in Pest. He was ordained a priest on June 21, 1893. He resided in the United States between 1907 and 1910.
He arrived in the country on June 5, 1907, aboard the ship Kaiser Wilhelm II, which had departed from the port of Bremen.
