Biographical data
His father was András Csucska, a priest, and his mother was Teréz Boksay. His wife was Ilona Romanovics. He pursued his theological studies in Uzhhorod. On December 3, 1879, he was ordained a priest by János Pásztélyi Kovács, Bishop of Munkács. He resided in the United States from 1901 to 1907. Upon his return, he ceased his priestly ministry.

A Szent Bazil Társulat által 1897-ben indított Nauka című ruszin vallásos, társadalmi és népművelő lap első szerkesztőjeként tartják számon; 1902 októberében Vaszilij Hadzsega követte. Amerikai szolgálata idején Johnstownban 1903-ban Cerkovnaja Nauka címmel hetilapot adott ki/szerkesztett.
