Biographical data
In 1949, he entered the Basilian Order, but was able to spend only one year in the novitiate because the order was banned. He studied briefly in Nyíregyháza, then studied theology in Budapest as a layman while working as a factory laborer. He left the country in 1956; he was ordained a priest in Rome on April 27, 1958, and was then assigned to Canada.
He made his solemn perpetual vows in 1964, also in Rome.
From 2016, he lived in Máriapócs as a retiree.
