Biographical data
He completed his high school studies in Nyírbátor and his theological studies in Kalocsa. He was ordained a priest in Kalocsa on May 1, 1932. Between 1936 and 1938, he served as a pastor in South America, where he arrived accompanied by three seminarians from Kalocsa. He returned home in 1938 due to illness and, because of the outbreak of war, was unable to return to Brazil. He was imprisoned from 1953 to 1956 and again from 1959 to 1963; afterward, he served temporarily in the Diocese of Győr.
