Biographical data
His mother was of Hungarian descent. He completed his studies at Grove Park School and St. Peter’s College in Münster, SK. He pursued his studies in philosophy and theology at St. Peter’s Seminary at the University of Western Ontario, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in philosophy in 1954. He was ordained a priest on May 27, 1956. He later earned a degree in psychology. After retiring in 1987, he worked in real estate until 1998.
