Biographical data
He was ordained a priest in 1905. He arrived in the United States on June 27, 1907, aboard the steamship Kaiser Wilhelm der Grosse. Around 1924, he returned to Hungary to visit his family and was unable to return. According to newspaper articles, he came into conflict with church authorities in Hungary and was consequently suspended. In his final despair, after visiting his mother’s grave, he threw himself in front of a train.
