He arrived in the United States around 1905; prior to that, he had been a missionary in South Africa, though the exact location cannot be specified. In 1918, the American left-wing newspaper *Előre* accused him of moral misconduct, but there is no record of any subsequent investigation. He died in Budapest in 1925.
