According to some sources, his name was Dionisius Gireczky. He was ordained as an Orthodox priest; according to other sources, he was Greek Catholic but converted to the Orthodox faith in the United States. In 1921, he converted (or returned) to the Greek Catholic Church. He served in the United States from 1921 onward. He was a married pastor, but his wife’s name is unknown.
