Biographical data
He was a seminarian at the Greek Catholic Church in Welland, ON. He was ordained a priest in September 1975. He served in both the Slovak and Hungarian parishes. On November 1, 1986, he received permission to celebrate Mass according to the Roman Catholic liturgy. In recognition of his service, he was granted the right to wear a miter. He served as the leader of the St. George Missionary Society. He also served as a mathematics teacher. He considered ecumenism to be a matter particularly close to his heart.
