Biographical data
He came from a long line of priests. He was a student at the Greek Catholic Theological Seminary in Eperjes. He was ordained a priest on December 6, 1896. By 1903, he was already in the United States. According to Káldor, he was a canon. He was a married pastor; his wife was Mária Happel, and they had eight children. He died of pneumonia.
