Biographical data
He was ordained a priest on September 4, 1905. In 1906, he was appointed chaplain of the 72nd Infantry Regiment. In 1909, he was transferred to the Diocese of Scranton, PA. He was primarily involved in pastoral work among the Slovak-speaking community.
