Biographical data
His parents were Miklós Gulyássy and Apollónia Kriskó. He completed his theological studies in Eperjes. He moved to the United States in 1921 and was ordained a priest of the Hajdúdorog Diocese in Canada on October 4, 1922. In 1924, he transferred to the Pittsburgh Exarchate. He is married. His wife is Ilona Mihalics; they were married on September 5, 1922, in the United States. Their children are Emil (1924), Márta (1925), György (1927), Pál (1929), and Róbert (1931).
