Biographical data
The Arrow Cross arrested and assaulted him. In 1946, after his ordination, he received a scholarship. From 1947 to 1951, he was a student at the Pontifical Hungarian Institute and did not return to Hungary. He earned a degree in music from Loyola University in New Orleans. He served as a chaplain in the U.S. Army and retired with the rank of colonel. He participated in the Vietnam War. He was buried with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery.
