He completed his studies at the seminary in Eger. He was ordained a priest on June 21, 1997. He was the founding conductor of the Cantate Domino choir in Örkény.
In 2018, he was named an honorary citizen of the town of Örkény. He arrived in the United States on September 25, 2018. He regularly streamed church services online, making the Hungarian-language Mass accessible to those who might have lived too far from the church. After his return in 2024, he became the dean of the Szécsény Deanery.
