Biographical data

Second-generation Hungarian. His parents were Márton Horváth and Rozália (Tóth). His brother, József P. Horváth, was also a priest. He graduated from Catholic Central High School in Hammond, then completed his theological studies at St. Lawrence Seminary in Mt. Calvary, WI, and at the seminary in St. Meinrad. He was ordained a priest on June 6, 1943. He served as a diocesan judge. He is buried at the Hungarian Sacred Heart Cemetery in South Bend, IN.
