László Jász was born on March 20, 1944, in Budapest. He was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of Esztergom on June 19, 1973, in Esztergom. His first assignment was in Csolnok, where he served as a chaplain from 1973 to 1974. He served briefly in Lábatlan, then from 1974 to 1978 he was an assistant pastor at the Alsóvíziváros parish in Budapest. From 1978 to 1981, he served as an assistant pastor at St. Michael’s Church in Budapest. In 1981, he was temporarily transferred to the Diocese of Székesfehérvár. In 1982, he emigrated to the United States. According to a 1989 record, he was still residing in the U.S. at that time; however, there is currently no reliable information about his place of ministry in the U.S. or his later life. The place and date of his death are unknown.
