He was ordained a priest on June 16, 1979. He served as director of the Archdiocesan St. Joseph College and as founding director of Hungarian Catholic Radio. He has been a canon since 1993 and a papal chaplain since 1995. From 2006 to 2018, he served as dean of the Gyöngyös Deanery. He has been president of the EKIF since 2004. Since 2007, he has been a judge of the Holy See. Since 2017, he has been a canon of the Metropolitan Cathedral. Since 2019, he has been the dean of the Miskolc Deanery, and since 2020, he has served as vicar general. He studied at Saint Paul University in Canada.
