Biographical data
His father’s name was Alex Lehmayer. He graduated from high school in Subotica. He completed his studies in Spalt, Sarajevo, and Zagreb. He was ordained a priest in Subotica on July 15, 1934. In 1949, an attempt was made to arrest him, but he escaped arrest on an adventurous journey and left the country. He lived in Canada starting in 1954; until then, he had been residing primarily in Vienna. During his brief ministry in Canada, he supported the clergy in his homeland with all his might, primarily through financial donations. He passed away at the age of 45 after a long, serious illness.
