Biographical data
His wife was Ilona Beszkid, and they had two children. He pursued his theological studies in Eperjes. On August 27, 1889, he was ordained a priest by Bishop János Vályi of Eperjes. He served in the United States from 1905 to 1927, then returned home. He served as a member of the Holy See Council beginning in 1929.
