He was raised at St. Stephen’s Church in Passaic. He was ordained a priest on May 30, 1942. He left the priesthood after 1957. He then settled in New York State, where he became the division manager of the Clifton Park Farmers Baseball Club and a Republican committee member for the town of Clifton Park. He was also a member of the Public Employees’ Union. His wife was Aqila Dumas, and his son was András. He passed away suddenly at his home.
