Biographical data
He attended high school in Brașov and Alba Iulia. He completed his theological studies in Alba Iulia. He was ordained a priest on July 5, 1891. He arrived in the United States in 1908. In 1902, he was awarded the title of titular abbot. From 1908 onward, he served as titular abbot of St. Catherine.
