Biographical data

The name of the bishop of Szentelő is Pál Palásthy, titular bishop.
According to the MKL and Miklósházy, his first name is Béla; according to Máté, it is Ádám. His admission documents list his first name as Ádám. This is corroborated by the July 28, 1934, issue of *The Daily Courier from Connellsville*, which mentions him.
He completed part of his theological studies in Pest. He was ordained a priest on June 21, 1893. He resided in the United States between 1907 and 1910.
He arrived in the country on June 5, 1907, aboard the ship Kaiser Wilhelm II, which had departed from the port of Bremen.
