Biographical data
He studied theology in Szeged and later at the Pázmáneum in Vienna. There, he was ordained a priest by István Breyer, Bishop of Győr, on July 14, 1935. In the 1940s, because he was of Jewish descent, he left the country and lived in Italy until 1957, where he served as secretary to Saint Pio of Pietrelcina. In 1957, he emigrated to the United States. He served as treasurer of the American Hungarian Catholic League (1983).
