Biographical data
His father was István Polyánszky, a priest; his mother was Laura Eleonóra Komlóssy. His wife was Eugénia Voigt, and they had one child. He pursued his theological studies in Uzhhorod. On December 25, 1893, he was ordained a priest by Bishop Gyula Firczák of Munkács. He served in the United States beginning in 1904.
