Biographical data
Original name: Márk Röhry. He completed his high school studies in Székesfehérvár. He entered the priesthood on July 19, 1937. He completed his theological studies at the Pécs College of Theology. He was ordained a priest on July 14, 1942, in Pécs. In 1951, he was sentenced to seven years in prison; he was released in 1955. He then worked at the Csepel screw factory before emigrating on December 1, 1956. He arrived in the United States on August 29, 1958.
