Biographical data
His father was Péter Rácz, and his mother was Amália Rikly. His wife’s maiden name was Irén. He pursued his theological studies in Uzhhorod. On April 7, 1912, he was ordained a priest by Bishop Demeter Radu of Oradea. He served in the United States beginning in 1920. While celebrating the Divine Liturgy, as he was blessing the congregation, he suffered a heart attack and died in the arms of one of the parishioners.
