According to Barnabás G. Kiss and Sándor Horváth, the parish priest of Olasz, he was a priest of the Diocese of Pécs, but the Diocesan Archives of Pécs were unable to confirm this. He was a restless soul who could never really settle down anywhere. He was ordained a priest in 1972. Around 1974, he left for abroad; he served briefly as a pastor in Germany, then lived in the United States from 1974 to 1991, serving as a military chaplain according to some sources. In 1976, he traveled to Venezuela to serve as pastor to the Hungarian community there. After a two-month stay in South America, he left his post and departed for an unknown destination. He returned home in 1991 but left for abroad again in 1993; there is no information about him from that point on, though some—unconfirmed—sources indicate that he lived in Germany.
