Biographical data

He was born in the United States. He attended school in Canton, OH, and completed his theological studies in Cincinnati, OH, and Corner, WI. He was ordained a priest in the Franciscan Order on August 20, 1976. On January 1, 1992, following the dissolution of the custodianship, he was incardinated into the Diocese of Cleveland. Although of Italian descent, he learned Hungarian to some extent and participated in Hungarian pastoral ministry.
