Biographical data
He arrived in Canada with his parents in 1957 and graduated from high school in Petrolia, ON. He pursued his higher education in the United States, earning degrees in philosophy and psychology. He was ordained a Franciscan priest in Washington, D.C., on February 2, 1980. From 1982 to 1985, he served as a missionary in Jerusalem, and from 1982 to 1983, he was rector of the Terra Santa Theological Institute in Nazareth. He is a member of the Order of Saint Lazarus and the Order of Columbus. On July 15, 2002, the Governor General of Canada granted him a Grant of Arms and a coat of arms. Awards:

• Special Service Medal, Persian Gulf – 2001
• Southeast Asia Service Medal, Persian Gulf – 2001

He does not participate in organized Hungarian pastoral care, but he celebrates Mass in Hungarian.
