Biographical data
He entered the Franciscan Order on September 5, 1907, and took his perpetual vows on June 22, 1913. He completed his theological studies in Gyöngyös and his legal studies in Szeged. He holds a doctorate in philosophy. He was ordained a priest on January 25, 1915. In 1927, he was elected to the Budapest City Council on the United Party ticket. He arrived in the United States in 1931. He lost his life in a devastating fire at the parish, although he was already suffering from stomach cancer at the time.
