Biographical data
He worked as a coal miner in Tatabánya and later as a foundry worker in Budapest. He was a novice in Mezőnyárád from 1943 to 1944. He began his theological studies in Péliföldszentkereszt in 1949, but from 1950 onward he continued them in Vác along with the other Salesian seminarians. He took his perpetual vows on December 3, 1950. Afterward, he worked as a laborer in various places. In 1956, he left the country. He continued his theological studies in Monteorto, Italy, and was ordained a priest in 1959. He served first in Italy and then in Sweden as a pastor to Hungarian refugees. In 1970, he moved to Canada. He also worked as a violin repairer. He supported the Hungarian province with significant financial contributions. He died with a reputation for holiness, and miracles have occurred at his grave (though not yet officially recognized by the Church).
