Biographical data
Zoltán Hámosi-Halász (listed as Zoltán Hámosi in some sources) was born on June 13, 1926. Details of his life and ministerial service are known only in fragments. Based on surviving sources, he served as a Roman Catholic priest in Venezuela, primarily in the Caracas area.

According to Gábor Molnár’s research, he lived in Caracas around 1957 with his sister and her Jewish husband, who ran a shirt-collar manufacturing business; later records indicate that he was still serving in Venezuela in 1992. In 2007, he is mentioned in connection with the El Recreo parish in Caracas.

The place and date of his ordination, his diocesan affiliation, and details of his death are currently unknown. Based on extant sources, no significant role of his in the life of the Hungarian community in Venezuela can be documented.
